Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already landed several television roles, including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. Downfall received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial great success. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra is engaged in numerous important projects both locally as well as internationally. These include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
