Aisling B a was born 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. She appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born on March 16, 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea, who began appearing as a part-time actress on Irish or British TV shows in 2009, made her debut as a stand-up comedian in the year 2011. From 2012 on, Bea was appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear regularly in various panel shows. Between 2016 and 2017 she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats team and also a part-time participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. The parents of her include Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. In 2012 she was the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born March 16, 1984 in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she was thirteen. She adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father. She also published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher, jockey trainer, and former professional jockey. Their family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a trainer for The Irish National Stud in her beginning years. However, she knew, that racing wasn't what she wanted to be as a profession and preferred performing.
